This motherboard is designed to replace the original lighting board in the Athearn Diesel Ready-To-Roll locomotives. Included on this motherboard is a KA2 Keep Alive® for smooth operation over troublesome tracks. Pair with a WOW121 for unparalleled sound and interruption-free performance.
The motherboard features a built-in motor clip for a simple slip-on installation.
NOTE: This product does not function without a decoder. Pick up an EU821 or WOW121 decoder to use this product.
NOTE: TCS motherboards feature on-board resistors for use with LED's. This motherboard also features an on-board 1.5V regulated power supply for use with "grain of wheat" incandescent bulbs found factory-installed in many Athearn locomotives.
All decoders are covered by a one year goof proof warranty. Please return in a small box.
